AS9100's key aspects include safety, airworthiness, product conformity and reliability in the aerospace industry. These quality requirements are crucial to aerospace OEMs, which maintain high levels of liability for their product.

AS9110 focuses on the control of repair schemes and maintenance plans, configuration management, and the skills and qualifications necessary to perform MRO tasks within the aerospace community.

AS9120 was developed for pass-through distributors of aerospace commodity items. This standard addresses chain of custody, traceability, control and availability of records.

ISO 9001 is the quality management system on which AS9100 is based. While most aerospace suppliers choose AS9100 registration as their primary management system certification, the option exists to register your organization solely to ISO 9001.

ISO 14001 is an environmental management system that assists companies in planning, monitoring and continually improving their competitive position and environmental performance. Due to complexity of some aerospace products, hazardous materials are often used in the manufacture or incorporated into the product. Having a robust environmental management system can help ensure the effective control of these materials.

OHSAS 18001 is an international occupational health and safety management system. This standard enables companies to control health and safety risks, while at the same time promoting employee well-being and a safe work environment. Many aerospace OEMs have adopted OHSAS 18001 to help ensure the safety of their employees.

Risk Management Solutions is our answer to providing cost-effective plans which are focused on helping organizations reduce or eliminate at-risk opportunities within their supply chain, helping to ensure the security of an organization’s international shipments, and providing that along the way an organization and their supply chain comply with corporate values, labor laws, and environmental/work safety compliance.

Integration: All of the above standards are compatible and easily integrated with one another, which allows for audits to be conducted simultaneously in most cases. By combining registration to multiple standards, your company will see the added benefits that each registration offers.
